Carpet and Upholstery

-Vacuum as often as possible to help carpet last longer.

-Do not use store bought stain removers. Most contain a percentage of bleach and will bleach or set the dye making it permanent.

-Peroxide, vinegar, and water are you best at home options to remove a stain.

-Blot, never rub.

-Have your upholstery cleaned once a year (twice a year preferably) The oils in your skin and hair will overtime break down the fibers leaving them worn looking and will eventually cause them to unravel. 

-Have your mattresses cleaned at least every two years. Manufacturers say that your mattress should last no more than 8 to 10 years. To help maximize the life of your mattress, it is good to have it professionally steam cleaned.


-Change your filter monthly.

-To save on power, don’t run your AC lower than 70 in summer and no higher than 67 in winter.

-Have an HVAC TECH service your air conditioner at least once a year to help keep your unit working at peak efficiency.
